Is Elvie Trainer safe?
We know you are trusting us with an intimate part of your body, so we have worked hard to earn that trust. Elvie Trainer is made with medical grade silicone, is BPA free, 100% waterproof and has been through rigorous safety testing, including stamp, drop, tumble, water, irritation and heat testing. Elvie Trainer connects to your phone via Bluetooth, which emits from the tail of Elvie Trainer - this always remains outside the body. Bluetooth devices are extremely low powered - approximately 100 times less than the maximum power of a mobile phone. It is due to this fact that lots of wireless healthcare and medical devices use Bluetooth. Elvie Trainer uses Bluetooth Low Energy, which offers an even lower emission than standard Bluetooth.
Elvie Trainer is CE marked, meaning it conforms with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).
