How do I track my baby's sleep in the Elvie Soothe & Sleep app?

When you first download the app, you'll be taken through step-by-step instructions, including how to set up a profile for your baby so that you can start tracking their sleep. You can also set this up at a later date in the Sleep section of the app.

Once you’ve created your baby’s profile and chosen your Sleep settings, you’ll be able to:

  • Live-record baby’s daytime naps and night-time sleep

  • See baby’s time in bassinet, automatically recorded by Elvie Rise when it detects baby inside

  • Convert bassinet time to sleep and manually add sleep sessions

  • Track your baby's sleep and see how their needs change over time

  • Spot patterns in sleep lengths and times so you can start to plan your days around them

How to start, stop and fine-tune a bounce using the Elvie Soothe & Sleep app

To control a bounce from within the app, you’ll need to:

1. Ensure baby is secured in the harness

2. Check your phone’s Bluetooth is turned on and you’re close by, then follow the instructions in the app to pair with Elvie Rise.

3. Open the Controls screen in the app to start, stop and fine-tune a bounce.

How does auto-recording of bassinet time work?

Elvie Rise will detect when baby’s inside the bassinet and automatically record the time they spend in it.

You can view bassinet time in your Today view and convert it to sleep by selecting the session.

Can me and my partner both use the app to control Elvie Rise?

Yes, you can pair up to two devices with Elvie Rise as long as you use the same username and password.

Why are my bassinet sessions not being shown in the app?

This could be because:

  1. Elvie Rise has turned off or run out of battery before the bassinet session was sent to the app. If so, ensure Elvie Rise has enough battery or is plugged in, then turn it on.

  2. You may have taken your phone out of range of the Bluetooth connection. If so, keep your phone close by and turn Elvie Rise on.

  3. You may not have this feature turned on in the app settings. Go to your child’s information page in Settings and check that ‘Show bassinet time’ is turned on.

  4. Occasionally, bassinet sessions will take time to appear in the app, check back later or try logging out of the app then log back in.

How do I delete Elvie Rise as a Bluetooth device from my phone?

You’ll need to go into your phone’s Bluetooth settings and choose to ‘forget’ Elvie Rise from the list of Bluetooth-connected devices.

If you remove Elvie Rise from your phone's Bluetooth-connected devices, you'll need to carry out a factory reset before you can pair with your phone again.

When Elvie Rise is turned off, press and hold the button while the light fills up in red, When the light is full, press the button again to complete the factory reset. This won't affect your baby's sleep data, which is stored in the app.

You can now repair with Elvie Rise. Open the app and go to the Control screen, then press and hold the button on the baby hub until the light pulses blue and accept the pairing request.
