Watch our how-to video or follow these instructions:
Unpack the small box and leave the Baby Hub where it is.
Tightly screw the four legs into the base.
Place the base on a stable, flat floor.
Next, unwrap the Baby Hub and ensure that the plastic wrapping is kept out of reach of children, then:
1. Position the Baby Hub so the front is facing the same direction as the arrow on the base.
2. Slot the Baby Hub into the base and gently push down until it locks into place.
3. Put Elvie Rise on charge by attaching the magnetic power cable to the charging port at the back of the base and plugging the other end into a wall socket. It takes up to 2 hours to fully charge, but you can use it while it's charging.
4. To wake Elvie Rise for the first time, hold down the button until the light turns on. This may take a few seconds. Next time you turn Elvie Rise on, you only need to press the button once.
5. Download the Elvie Soothe & Sleep app from App Store or Google Play to start using Elvie Rise features - including sleep tracking, and managing an automated bounce from your phone.
Please keep all plastic wrapping and other packaging until you are satisfied with the product. You may want to keep the box for future storage.

How do I know which bouncer mode Elvie Rise is in?
If you’ve just bought your Elvie Rise
When you first unpack it, the Baby Hub will already be positioned in infant bouncer mode. If your baby’s not yet able to hold their head up, you’ll need to adjust to newborn bouncer mode, or use Elvie Rise as a lie-flat bassinet.
See our instructions for adjusting between bouncer modes and transitioning from bouncer to bassinet
If you’ve already used Elvie Rise
You should be able to tell which bouncer mode Elvie Rise is in by how inclined the seat is, and how much of the fabric outer side wall is on show:

Newborn bouncer mode will be on a lower incline and the fabric will be more tightly folded

Infant bouncer mode will be on a higher incline and the fabric will be expanded
How should I position my baby in Elvie Rise?
To ensure baby’s positioned securely, you’ll need to follow specific guidance based on the mode you’re using.
When Elvie Rise is in bassinet mode:
Check the harness and harness buckles are fully retracted and tucked inside the harness slot before using the bassinet.
Place baby on their back, with their feet at the foot-end of the Baby Hub.
If you’re moving from bouncer to bassinet, baby will stay in position through the smooth transition and the harness will automatically retract.
When Elvie Rise is in a bouncer mode:
If the harness is retracted, pull it out from the harness slot until it comes to a natural stop.
Place baby gently into the bouncer. Their bum should be on the 'e' marked on the padded sheet.
Make sure baby is correctly secured in the bouncer
How do I secure my baby in the bouncer?
Before you start, make sure Elvie Rise is in either newborn bouncer or infant bouncer mode and positioned on a stable, flat floor.
1. If the harness is retracted, pull it out from the harness slot until it comes to a natural stop.
2. Place baby gently into the bouncer. Their bum should be sat on the 'e' marked on the padded sheet.
3. Unfold the harness and check it’s not twisted. You’ll see the Elvie logo at the front when it’s positioned correctly.
4. Align the harness buckles with the clips on each side of the bouncer and push until you hear them ‘click’ into place.
5. Adjust the harness to fit snugly and push the poppers into place, making sure they’re securely fastened on both sides. (The inner poppers are meant for smaller babies and the outer poppers for larger babies.)
6. Check the harness is fully secured by gently pulling it towards you.

How do I transition from bouncer to bassinet?
If this is the first time you're transitioning Elvie Rise from a bouncer to bassinet, we recommend trying it without baby in.
1. When Elvie Rise is in either bouncer mode, gently push down on the foot-end then squeeze and hold the transition handle before pulling up. The light will show a white ripple effect as you transition between modes.
2. The harness will automatically detach and retract into the harness slot. Make sure the harness slot is clear and baby isn't blocking the harness from retracting.
3. Release the handle once the bassinet has fully expanded and continue to pull the side up.
4. Push down on the grips with your other hand to help Elvie Rise lock into bassinet mode.
5. When you hear a 'click', it's locked in.
6. If the light turns to a red ripple effect, it's not locked into bassinet mode and you'll need to try pulling the bassinet side up again while pushing down on the grips.
7. Check the harness and harness buckles are fully retracted and tucked inside the harness slot before using the bassinet. For baby's safety, the harness cannot be pulled out when in bassinet mode.
If the light turns to a red ripple effect, it's not locked in and you'll need to try again. Learn more about Elvie Rise lights
