Is Elvie Rise suitable for my baby?
Elvie Rise has been designed to support babies to Soothe, Sleep and Play around the clock. Each mode is suitable for babies based on their weight, length and developmental stage, whichever criteria is met first.
Bassinet mode is suitable for babies that are:
Newborn to 5 months
Up to 10kg/22lb
46-70cm/18-27.5in
Not yet able to sit or kneel or pull themselves up
Newborn bouncer mode is suitable for babies that are:
Up to 6 months
2.5-9kg/5.5-20lb
46-73cm/18-29in
Not yet able to hold their head up
Infant bouncer mode is suitable for babies that are:
Up to 6 months
2.5-9kg/5.5-20lb
46-73cm/18-29in
Able to hold their head up but not yet able to sit or kneel or pull themselves up
Elvie Rise might not be suitable for babies with allergies
How safe is Elvie Rise?
Elvie Rise has been carefully developed with safety front of mind. Right from the outset, it’s been designed to put your baby’s safety first. It meets the following safety requirements:
- ASTM F2194 - promoting safe use of bassinets, when Elvie Rise is in bassinet mode
- ASTM F2167 - promoting safe use of bouncers, when Elvie Rise is in bouncer mode

Can my baby sleep in it?
Your baby can sleep in Elvie Rise when in bassinet mode only. Elvie Rise in bassinet mode has been designed for baby to sleep safe and sound around the clock. With a firm flat mattress (following guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics), breathable inner side wall and a retractable harness, Elvie Rise transitions seamlessly to a lie-flat bassinet suitable for sleep.
Please note: Elvie Rise is not safe for sleep or unsupervised use when in bouncer mode.
We strongly recommend following the latest safe sleep guidelines from your local health authority to keep your little one safe.
Is the mattress suitable for sleep?
The firm, flat mattress with waterproof layer and super soft breathable bamboo-rich padded sheet make the mattress suitable for day-time naps and night-time sleep.
Is the fabric breathable?
Yes, the firm flat mattress, bamboo-rich padded sheet and fabric inner side wall have all been carefully designed using breathable, super soft fabrics.

Where can I use Elvie Rise?
Elvie Rise is designed for indoor use only. For safety reasons, it always needs to be placed on a firm, flat floor clear of any obstructions.

Carrying Elvie Rise around your home
Elvie Rise's portable design includes a collapsible base and embedded carrying groove, so you can move it easily around your home - to another room, or up and down the stairs.
Watch our how-to video or follow these instructions:
1. Turn Elvie Rise off and remove the cable if it’s charging.
2. Position yourself at the foot-end of the Baby Hub while Elvie Rise is in newborn or infant bouncer mode.
3. Using the carrying groove around the top of the Baby Hub, lift Elvie Rise towards you.
4. Fold the back legs down towards the front legs. They’ll fully collapse when Elvie Rise has been lifted off the floor.
5. Using the carrying groove as a handle, carry Elvie Rise in a way you find comfortable - in front of you or by your side.
6. Place Elvie Rise back down on a stable, flat floor.
7. Set the back legs on the floor and extend the front legs until Elvie Rise is stable.
8. If the battery's low, we recommend putting it near a wall socket so it can be plugged in to charge while baby uses it.
Can I travel with Elvie Rise?
Yes, the portable design means you can pack it up and take it with you on your travels. We recommend putting it back into the original box so it's easy to carry and won't get damaged.
First, you'll need to disassemble Elvie Rise. Watch our how-to video or follow these instructions:
1. Put Elvie Rise into infant bouncer mode.
2. Reach underneath the base and press the coral button in the centre until you hear a ‘click’.
3. Hold the base in place and carefully lift the Baby Hub off.
4. Unscrew the four legs from the base.
5. Repack Elvie Rise in its original box.

How stable is Elvie Rise?
Elvie Rise has been built with solid beech wood legs and rubber feet to keep baby secure when inside. Always make sure it’s placed on a stable, flat floor surface.
If you have other children or pets, please watch them near Elvie Rise while baby's inside to prevent any accidental knocks or tipping.
Can Elvie Rise help with colic, wind and reflux?
While rhythmic bouncing may help with colic, winding, reflux and general burping after feeding, we recommend you speak to a medical professional before using Elvie Rise for that purpose.
Never prop up Elvie Rise or put anything near it that will obstruct its use.
How noisy is Elvie Rise?
No novelty sounds around here. Our innovative patented technology is hidden away and whisper-quiet. With no motor or clashing magnets, baby can sleep safe and sound.
