How much suction does Elvie Stride have?
Elvie Stride has two modes, Stimulation and Expression mode.
Stimulation mode is a faster pumping rhythm to stimulate milk let-down. In this mode the pump is massaging your nipple. It’s doing this to let your breast know that it’s time to produce milk.
Expression mode is a slower, stronger pumping rhythm. In this mode your pump is helping your breast to release milk efficiently.
Within each mode, there are 10 different intensity settings.
This means it can be easily personalized to a level that is comfortable and efficient.
It's important to keep in mind that a higher intensity setting does not always mean a higher volume of milk.
Putting your nipple under excess stress or pumping if you are in pain can reduce milk production.
