Popping open

"The pumps don't have the best fit and can sometimes just pop open and not rejoin until you've washed and sterilized them again. It's caused a lot of milk loss and frustration having to wash to often and not using the fridge hack. Spoke to customer service for a whole hour for them to finally tell me that it's because I've been steam sterilizing them. I've only had them a week and I've heard other mothers say the same exact issue happened to them so I'm not sure. Needless to say I didn't get a replacement sent and I've wasted a lot of money."

Same output as Spectra

"Got elvie stride and getting same output as Spectra. Just have to pump for 40 mins instead of 30 mins. But so convenient and very happy with the purchase."

Parita S. (5/5)

Great until it wasnt

"I started out with high hopes for this pump, and at the beginning it was great. After 2 weeks (of using it for 20 minutes, 2-3x daily, for 4 days a week) the battery stopped holding a full charge/depleting quickly. I would be 10 minutes into my first pump of the day and it would only be half charged. I kept using it because what else am I going to do? I need to feed my child when I'm at work. Now it's been about a month and a half and one of the cups won't stay sealed around the outside all of a sudden. Yesterday about 3oz of milk leaked out (and I'm so thankful I have a few spare ounces in the freezer so I can feed my baby) I squeeze it together and it starts the separate again. While im sure I could order a replacement seal, I am not willing to pour money into something that is already breaking down after less than 2 months. So unfortunately, I cannot recommend this pump and am fortunate I can afford to buy another one- so I feel for people who really can't afford to dish out hundreds of dollars over something we are expecting to work to feed our baby breastmilk (which we can't afford to be leaking everywhere) Hopefully my supply won't drop while I wait for a new brand to arrive, and I can't even donate because I don't want another mom to have to feel sadness over losing her milk."

So far this happened twice & I’m only 2 weeks pp

"Why when I sit the pump down the bottom opens up and all my milk spills out. It has a rubber seal this shouldn’t be happening. It’s only used for 2 weeks. This is absolutely ridiculous."

VERY DISAPPOINTING

"I was really disappointed with this breast pump. It is not hospital grade, and the suction feels very uneven and unbalanced. Since my milk supply is already low, consistency is really important, and this pump made things even more frustrating. There were multiple times when I removed the pumps and parts completely fell apart, causing my milk to spill. My milk also leaked into the wires and into the pumping device itself, and now the machine no longer works at all. As a breastfeeding mom, losing milk is upsetting enough, but having the device break because of poor design made the experience even worse. I would not recommend this product."

Brooke B. (1/5)

I literally cried

"The pump itself is great and def hospital grade. The collection cups are terrible. They have opened up on me several times after long pump times. I was literally crying over spilled milk and I'm an undersupplier which made it worse."

Do NOT buy

"Horrible pump. I was SO excited to try this but I’ve had at least 10 separate issues with it. Not user friendly and do not recommend"

Libby (1/5)

Perfect

"Suction is great, portable and works well"

Hannah L. (5/5)

Be weary buying, repeated issue with no fix.

"I’m very frustrated with this product. I’ve used it almost exclusively for going on 8months. I’ve replaced every single bit of this pump several times and have taken the utmost care of it. With all new parts I’m still having the issue of the diaphragms not fitting correctly which causes the milk to be pulled through the tubing and to the motor. I loved this pump til I continually started having issues. As a mom who exclusively pumps, a pump that runs with no issues is SO important and it is overly frustrating to not only have issues but to continue to have said isses when you’ve replaced everything with the cost coming out J. of your own pocket. I have never in my life written a review, but this has been so frustrating I had to share. I hope Elvie fixes this bug."

Jessica (1/5)

Leaks

"The pump leaks and sometimes the pieces just come apart and milk goes everywhere which is disappointing when your supply is already low."
