Frequently asked questions

Elvie Catch is designed to help keep you leak-free. It can be used between feeds to catch leaks, and is especially useful to women who experience heavy leaking, as well as new moms who have not yet established a feeding rhythm and are still in the ‘leaky’ phase. Elvie Catch are one size fits all, and have been tested on a range of different women to find the best comfort and fit.

We recommend removing your Elvie Catch every two to three hours, to allow the nipple to completely air-dry. Please note: Milk collected over extended periods and left at room temperature for too long should not be fed to your baby.

Like breast pads, Elvie Catch is designed to keep you leak-free. However, Elvie Catch is also reusable (a one-time investment) and allows you to save the milk you collect. They can hold up to 1oz / 30ml of milk, and this milk can be used to top up a feed, put in your baby’s bath, or used however you see fit - the milk is not wasted with Elvie Catch. Additionally, Elvie Catch is dishwasher safe and comfortable to wear for up to 3 hours at a time.

Fernanda O. (5/5)

Terrible ! Don't waste your money and your precious milk

"I have tried and tried, milk keeps on getting stuck in the middle and it spills when trying to transfer it. I called and ask for assistance. They sent Me new parts but it changed nothing. The milk still stays in the middle and then spills everywhere."

Rayhana S. (1/5)

Wish I had bought these sooner!

"These are wonderful for catching let downs. I had the Hakka ones before but they were causing an oversupply because they need to be suctioned on. Love that these Elvie ones don’t suction and I love the material they are made out of so much more! The Hakka ones would stick to my sensitive skin and felt like it was ripping off skin when I removed them. These don’t!"

Taylor2 (5/5)

Life savers

"I was dubious about how good they would be with a larger breast but they are fab. Bought these after suffering from sore nipples due to constant wet breast pads. They have been a life saver! They are very comfortable to wear and so far have never leaked. Great product and would recommend to any breastfeeding lady."

BVtest (5/5)
