Frustrating but effective

"I purchased this pump to use primarily at work after maternity leave. I need to pump 3-4 times while at work. I wanted a pump that had good suction and could store in the fridge between pumps, eliminating the need to fully clean and sanitize between pumps the same day. This pump design creates an issue in that if the gasket gets milk residue between pumps it causes the cups to separate, spilling all the milk. It is pretty frustrating. I understand that the instructions state the parts must all be dry but I wish something would’ve stated very plainly that this eliminated the refrigerator storage method."

"I didn't have any issues replacing my elvie cups. The quality is so good, I didn't feel like I needed to replace them as often as other pumps. The elvie stride is my go to pump at work and while traveling."

Great product, should come with more back up pieces

"I bought this item as a back up in case anything happened with my Elvie pump parts. I love this pump and have really come to rely on it as my primary pump. I recommend the Elvie Stride to all my new mom friends. I get more milk using the Elvie than I do with my Spectra and in less time. Plus the set up is much easier. My only recommendation for the company is that I think the pump should come with replacement caps and gaskets because these parts are easy to misplace or break. They are small and with all the washing and sterilizing that you’re supposed to do, it’s easy to lose these pieces. For example, I accidentally left the cap on my drying rack and wasn’t able to use the dual pump at work because the suction wouldn’t work without the cap on for the left cup. If I had a spare, it would have come in handy."

Great but suction dies

"They are great when they are working but the suction doesn't seem to last that long so sometimes it will break apart (and spill milk) while I am taking them off. It seems like I have to replace them pretty often in order to keep the suction at original level because they don't last through that many washes"
