Your pump uses a breast shield to connect your nipple with the pump. If it does not fit, it can affect milk volume and comfort. Elvie offers shields in 21 mm, 24 mm, and 28 mm.
If you have smaller nipples, you might need Elvie Nipple Cushions. Nipple Cushions are soft, silicone accessories that you can place inside a 24mm Breast Shield (which are included with all the breast pumps listed above) to help size down your shield and provide extra comfort. Elvie Nipple Cushions are available in size 15mm, 17mm, or 19mm. You can identify your fit with the table above.

Can I use Elvie Nipple Cushions with my Elvie Stride 2?
We wouldn't recommend using Elvie Nipple Cushions with Stride 2, and would recommend using the in-box inserts. Elvie Stride 2 includes inserts within the box, which provide the comfort of a Nipple Cushion.
No two ways about it. Getting the right size for you is kind of a big deal. It connects your pump to your body. If it doesn't fit, you might experience decreased milk volumes or even pain or discomfort. Not ideal, right?
To get the recommended breast pump fit for you, you need to measure the base of your nipple. The base of your nipple is where it meets the areola. The areola is the circular patch of darker skin on your breast.
It’s important to size both of your nipples. No two nipples are the same, so you might find you need different sizes for left and right.
To avoid inaccurate measurements, do not measure yourself directly after pumping or breastfeeding.
We recommend choosing the 24 mm option. The user can then use our app to find the best fit and purchase additional inserts if needed.

"I’m extremely frustrated with how this was handled. I was simply browsing products and accidentally clicked “checkout", which placed an order unintentionally. To make matters worse, there is no option on your website to cancel an order, which is incredibly frustrating and reflects very poor website management. I contacted customer support multiple times to cancel the order, but I only received unhelpful, generic responses. It honestly felt like a scam. I clearly stated that I am not breastfeeding and did not want the product, yet it was still shipped despite my repeated requests to cancel. Each time, I was told, “It’s been escalated and someone will contact you within 48 hours,” but no one ever followed up. Now I’m being forced to return the product and cover the shipping cost due to your mismanagement. This was a horrible support experience, and it has completely turned me away from purchasing from your company again."

"I had an Elvie three years ago and used that through two babies. We just had our last baby and I bought a new one. Still as good as I remembered! Although, I have an oversupply this time and I don’t feel it empties me as much as it could but the cups are only 6oz which for me it always stops at 4oz and says full which can be 5 minutes into my 30 min pump. I am not sure how much some other pumps leak but this one does leak if you bend over which I guess is ok (not if you have two other toddlers and have to bend over constantly) Overall, I would recommend this pump. It’s expensive for the price and there are plenty of others but I do know they have good customer service also."
