Doesn’t work & customer service is trash

"Purchased for postpartum but it does not stay in or work where it is supposed to. I did a test with my hand and it worked normally. Requested a return and/or refund as it doesn’t work how it is supposed to and kept getting the run around for over a week with no resolution. No refund, no nothing. Kept telling me to try it different ways but they don’t work. All canned responses from customer service without any actual help. Awful. Waste of money. Wish I read the reviews beforehand. Attempted to leave a review previously but I guess the company gets to pick and choose what reviews they want or don’t want on their website."

Misleading

"The only reason to insert the product is to keep track of your Kegel exercises through the app and if you have gotten stronger. Unlike other devices that actually help to make you pelvic floor stronger. And to not care at all about customer satisfaction is such a disappointment. As if woman’s health hasn’t suffered enough. No returns so if you are not sure about this product so not purchase."

Doesn’t work where it is supposed to

"DO NOT RECOMMEND. I bought this pelvic floor trainer to help me postpartum. I tried to use it multiple times in multiple positions and it was not tracking properly. When I tested it with my hand it worked fine. It did not stay in even with the additional part provided. I contacted Elvie to request a return for a refund and have been given the run around and the same canned responses for maybe a week now. The trainer obviously doesn’t work properly where it is supposed to so I requested to return it and receive a refund but they said they can’t because it had been used. So just refund me then. Nope. Customer service with this company is poor and this is actually the second item I bought something from this company and neither work well or at all. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND."

design improvements could improve ease of use

"Charging for the device has completed when the light turns "off". . . . how does one know if its fully charge or not charging? What about a light that comes on to show its charging and changes color when fully charged? Have you considered an audible signal on the app to tell the user when to relax or lift? My PT suggested that I close my eyes when doing the exercises to visualize (not possible) I've had extreme difficulty keeping the signal - it frequently drops and I have to restart the exercise."

Possible Alternative to PT?

"Bought this as an alternative to in person therapy as my schedule currently cannot accommodate it. I like how straightforward it is to use. Dislike the fact that it seems to lose connection easily (even between exercises). I think this is a good add on for someone already in pelvic floor therapy but probably shouldn’t be a replacement."

"The games are fun. The only problem is that it only works when laying down"

Madonna R. (4/5)

Early failure and abysmal tech support

"I mostly dislike the customer support. They have live people answering the phone, but I doubt they have ever seen the product. My Elvie failed after an extended period of not being used. It was out of warranty when this happened, but had barely been used. The tech support was worse than useless and the escalated support could only tell me to buy a new one. Not happening."

Lissa M. (2/5)

Elvie

"My Elvie won’t stay connected. I have had a difficult time getting to talk to anyone."

Kim H. (1/5)

Allergic reaction

"I got the trainer and unfortunately, I have an allergy to the product. The product did not work for me."

Suzan H. (1/5)

When it works, I get encouraged

"Have trouble getting it to do anything at times but when it works, I get excited!"
